Help and Frequently Asked Questions
I see that this system has benefits for Laptop Broker, but what does RMA Request do for me? In addition to helping Laptop Broker improve our service to you, RMA Request helps you stay informed throughout the process. After you submit your RMA, you will be able to log back in at any time and see how we have progressed in completing your request. You will be able to see: o When Laptop Broker has approved (or in some cases, declined) your RMA; o When Laptop Broker has received your item; o When Laptop Broker has inspected your item; and o When Laptop Broker has completed your RMA (for example, sent a replacement, or sent a refund, etc.) In addition to helping you check your RMA status, our system also enables us to send you confirming emails at each step. We at Laptop Broker want to provide you the highest level of satisfaction possible, and keeping you informed is one of the best ways to do that. How do I submit an RMA Request? After you have logged in, you will see a summary of your order(s). Look under the column marked “RMA Request?”. If that location shows a “No”, you can click on that item. Another window will be presented where you can describe the problem you are having, the action you would prefer to have Laptop Broker take on your behalf, as well as enter any notes regarding the item. When you are done, select the “Submit RMA Request” button to submit it to RMA Request.com. You will then be sent a confirming email that we have received your request, and have processed it and forwarded it to the correct department. If you change your mind about submitting your RMA Request, select “Cancel” to be brought back to your order summary page. How do I check the status of an RMA Request? After you have logged in, you will see a summary of your order(s). Look under the column marked “RMA Request?”. That location should shows a “Yes”, indicating that an RMA Request has been submitted. Look on the left for the order number corresponding to that request; click on that and another window will be presented where you see the details of your RMA’s progress. What if I have more than just one order with Laptop Broker? Generally, your email address and order number will produce a unique match and only one order will be shown. However, if Laptop Broker has grouped multiple items under a common order number (such as 12345, 12345A, 12345B), enter the common number (“12345”) and all orders will be shown. You can then pick the order you are interested in. If you know that you are only interested in order number “12345A”, enter that specific order number and that will be the only order shown. I am trying to log in and the system says it cannot find my order. What's wrong? You are using the wrong email address. Of course, be sure to double check your email and order number The most common problem is that you may not be using the email that you provided to us upon checkout, and may be using an email that you use for something else (like your PayPal or BillPay accounts). Be sure to use the email exactly as you provided it to us previously. Your item is past it’s warranty period. Another common reason is that your order may be too old. Your order will exist on RMA Request.com only as long as your warranty period. So, if you warranty period is 90 days, your item will be available to have an RMA submitted during that period. I want full refund, but I don’t see that as an option. Why not? The return options that are available to you are determined by the terms of your warranty, and are disclosed to you as part of the terms and conditions of sales that were agreed to by you and Laptop Broker. Your item may been “sold as is”, or may have a replacement warranty. Please review the details of your purchase to be sure. Some of my order numbers have “A” or “MA” or "-1" next to them... Why is that? Sometimes we will create unique order numbers for multiple items on the same order by appending an “A”, “B”, etc. This enables you to select the specific item on an order to track it. How does RMA Request influence the RMA process? RMA Request.com has no influence on the progress or outcome of your RMA. RMA Request.com simply helps to keep you informed with what is happening, every step of the way.
